Melvin Walker has a passion for helping people in poverty reach their full potential not just in terms of material gains, but also mentally and spiritually.

Melvin works as a marketplace chaplain for Tip Top Poultry in Marietta. Tip Top Poultry is a Christian company that seeks to honor God in how it runs its business, serves its customers, treats its employees, and relates to its vendors. Melvin has also served as a residential case manager and fund developer at the Turner Hill Community Development Corporation and volunteered his time and talents at MUST Ministries, particularly with employment services, client intake, and case management.

Melvin's prior professional journey includes managerial and supervisory roles as well as experience in customer service and sales positions across various industries.

Melvin has a B.A. in Christian Ministry and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Melvin attends North Metro Church in Marietta, where he is also actively involved in their Stephen Ministry and leads a small group.
