Our Core Values
The Circles Cobb Way
*Circle Leaders are individuals experiencing poverty who strongly desire to better their lives (and that of their families) and move from striving to thriving. Circle Leaders commit to a two-year program that surrounds them with a circle of community and support. Circle Leaders are at the heart of all we do at Circles Cobb.
Community—We build communities devoted to ending poverty.
Integrity—Honesty, humility, respect, and fairness drive our behavior.
Results—We measure our mutual success through factors that help move Circle Leaders from striving to thriving.
Courage—We challenge systems and mindsets keeping people in poverty with honest conversations, partnerships, and advocacy.
Leadership—We ignite Circle Leaders’ confidence to learn, grow, and lead themselves permanently out of poverty.
Empowerment – We foster an equitable environment where Circle Leaders are empowered to lift themselves into financial stability through intentional friendships,
education, and resources.
Support—We promote the sharing of social capital to assist Circle Leaders on their journey to self-sufficiency.
