Susie Ivy joined Kennesaw State University as the Executive Communications Lead in 2024. With over 20 years in mission-driven organizations across higher education, nonprofit, and government sectors, Ivy is passionate about speechwriting, public and media relations, crisis communications, and executive communications and coaching. Her expertise also includes organizational and operations management. Before joining KSU, Ivy worked at Georgia Tech, WFN Consulting, and The Center for Family Resources. She holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Berry College. On most nights and weekends, you’ll find her on a tennis court. She is a lifelong metro Atlantan but has called Cobb County home for nearly two decades. She resides in Smyrna with her husband, Brian.
